To ensure the safety, training and enjoyment that each cadet receives when participating in an adventurous training activity all of our instructor must receive training to a set level. All of the instructors in Number 3 Welsh Wing hold nationally recognised qualifications from national governing bodies [NGB’s].

The qualification an instructor holds dictates the areas and levels of training they can provide. This section of the web site has been designed to allow current instructors and potential instructors the opportunity to see what qualifications they will require to instruct cadets and how to develop their own personal training further.

The term adventure training is normally split into the three following sub categories:-

Kayaking

Trekking

Top Roping and Abseiling

To view the qualification chart that interests you click on one of the aforementioned sub categories.

Number 3 Welsh Wing does offer other adventurous activities such as mountain biking however these activities are currently being reviewed, for further information on them please feel free to e-mail Squadron Leader R. Behnna.
