The Air Training Corps motto “Venture Adventure” puts adventurous training at the very center of the Corps activities and training.  Number 3 Welsh Wing stands as an example to all other Wings with its policies, opportunities and staff requirements.

It has long been the policy of Number 3 Welsh Wing to only allow well trained and nationally qualified staff to lead our cadets on the hills, waters and mountains of Great Britain. To this effect the Number 3 Welsh Wing Adventure Training Technical Panel works hard to ensure that all senior cadets and members of staff are given the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications, continuous training and the opportunities of further development.
